New firmware update with the build number 28.0.A.8.245 has been certified by the PTCRB for the latest devices of Xperia Z series Xperia Z4 tablet and Xperia Z3+. This will replace the previous build number 28.0.A.7.31 from the new build number 28.0.A.8.245. Surely this is not the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update as this has a small change in this build number. But we can expect this should be the fix for the stagefright vulnerability. So stay tuned with XperiBlog to know when will this be rolled out.
