Sony Mobile has started rolling out a new firmware update to Xperia M5 and Xperia M5 Dual with the build numbers 30.1.A.1.55 and 30.1.B.1.55 respectively. The update is live for Xperia M5 E5603, E5606, E5653 variants and Xperia M5 Dual E5633 and E5663 variants right now. A change log has not been released yet. But we can guess that this update may fix the shutdown bug which was present on the previous builds. OTA update is around 210MB in size. This will keep the handset still on Lollipop 5.1. So wait for the update notification to appear.
